About Jennifer
Jennifer was born in Puyallup, Washington in 1976. In 1982 her parents, Mark and Sandra, moved Jennifer and her two siblings to Mesa, Arizona where her father sold mobile homes. He later entered the computer industry and is now teaching computer networking. Jennifer’s mother worked in a government job and is now retired and making and selling jewelry and rosaries. Jennifer graduated from Gilbert High School in 1994 and went on to community college, had a brief stint at University of Arizona and in 1999 graduated from Arizona State University with a B.A. in Theatre. While growing up Jennifer was very active in the school theatre and her local church by singing in choirs, eventually directing the choirs and then moving on to become the worship leader of the contemporary worship band. Jennifer was also very active in working and leading multi-church spiritual retreats.
Jennifer’s first job was at the local mall and she worked in food based industries until her move to the KFC regional office as the facilities administrative assistant. After Jennifer graduated from ASU she left her facilities job for a brief stint in HOA property management. From there she found a place working at Mercy Care Plan, a Medicaid health insurance company, as an administrative assistant, and later became a project leader for Schaller Anderson (now owned by Aetna) working with all types of health insurances.
After a particularly stressful period of time Jennifer became ill and decided to quit her very high paced job to find more balance. It was during this time that Jennifer began to explore her spirituality and gifts by reading spiritual books, meditating, taking a spiritual counseling course and working with her spiritual mentor. As Jennifer developed her gift of channeling and intuition she created Open Hearts Spiritual Counseling, which began in June of 2006. While slowly building her clientele Jennifer taught pre-school for a private daycare and later found her current employment as an executive assistant for A.T. Still University’s Arizona School of Dentistry & Oral Health. Jennifer found this to be a nurturing and spiritual environment as the mission of the school is to serve the underserved with compassion and integrity.
Jennifer currently lives in Gilbert, Arizona. She continues to learn and grow both personally and professional with a constant focus on bettering herself in order to more fully help others. Jennifer is passionate about reaching out to others spiritually and teaching them how to release the past, empower themselves and discover their life purpose. In order to do this Jennifer realizes that she has to put herself first and has now embarked upon her own spiritual path of discovery. During this time of life Jennifer will no longer be taking private clients as she needs the solitude to work on herself.
